GOVERNOR'S PLATE

The Governor’s Plate was created in 2021 to highlight Colorado’s diverse and unbeatable agricultural products and chefs. In 2021, Papa Mario’s Grilled Cheese from Pueblo took home top honors by winning both the People’s Choice and Governor’s Plate. In 2022 they also won the People’s Choice but Anne’s A La Mode from Edgewater was awarded the Governor’s Plate for their habanero peach cup-o-cobbler.

Competing trucks must be registered as “Colorado Proud” which means they utilize any food or agricultural product that has been grown, raised or processed in Colorado.  By supporting registered Colorado Proud businesses you are helping Colorado’s economy, local farmers, ranchers, greenhouses, manufacturers and processors in your area.

Trucks that have been selected to compete will be announced later this summer. Get ready to sample all of the delicious entries and cast your vote for the 2023 Governor’s Plate champion!
