AQHA Team Roping & Ranch Riding

This special event will take place over two days. 

The AQHA Team Roping will be judged on 4 different maneuvers throughout the roping run. The horse is judged on it’s behavior in the box, running and rating, setting and handling, and finally facing and stopping. The focus of this event is a clean, calm, and consistent run.

Ranch Riding is meant to simulate a horse performing in working conditions. Judges are looking for forward motion at a working speed, while completing maneuvers in the assigned pattern. This event is designed to highlight purposeful riding that is commonly used outside of the arena.
