Welcome back, Colorado runners and walkers! The Stampede 5K Race & 2-Mile Fun Walk at the Colorado State Fair & Rodeo is on Sunday, August 29, 2021! The Stampede offers an exciting morning full of exercise, fun, and festivity, no matter your fitness level. With competitive categories for children and adults, runners will appreciate the flat course, designed to begin on the Colorado State Fairgrounds and then move through the historic surrounding neighborhood. Walkers will enjoy the ease of traveling the perimeter of the fairgrounds. Afterwards, celebrate with us over refreshments and music! Registration fees include two complimentary gate passes, so Stampede 5K Race & 2-Mile Fun Walk participants can come back and enjoy the full Colorado State Fair & Rodeo events on any day of their choosing!

Stampede 5K Race & 2-Mile Fun Walk online registration opens on Saturday, May 29 @ 10 a.m.
Race entry is $13-$30. Every Stampede Race & Fun Walk entry includes two complimentary gate passes good for any day of the 2021 Colorado State Fair.

August 28, 7 p.m.: Online registration closes
August 29, 6:30 a.m.: Entry packet pick-up at the Beulah Avenue Main Gate (Gate 9)
August 29, 6:30 a.m.-7:30 a.m.: Onsite Day of Registration at the Beulah Avenue Main Gate (Gate 9)
August 29, 8 a.m.: Stampede 5K Race & 2-Mile Fun Walk start at Fountain Park
August 29, 9 a.m.: Awards and celebration in Runner’s Village

Please, no bikes or dogs. Strollers are welcome and asked to line up behind runners.
FREE race day parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods. Park at the east end of the fairgrounds closest to Beulah Avenue (Gate 9).
SAFETY
Use caution! The Stampede 5K Race Running Course passes in front of several gates and streets where runners may encounter vehicles. Stampede 2-Mile Fun Walkers should also use caution in front of fairgrounds gates. For concerns or assistance, please see a course marshal.
There is a water station available at the Prairie Avenue Gate.
