The Colorado State Fair is looking to hire temporary livestock office clerks for the 2023 Colorado State Fair. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- General office duties and have a basic knowledge of computer skills
- Help distribute and track credentials issued to exhibitors, superintendents, judges, and award sponsors
- Assist with checking in exhibitors and addressing any concerns in a professional manner
- Assist in clerking livestock shows including following directions of and assisting superintendents and judges and helping to count and organize daily show awards
- Must be able to work long hours and weekends during the 2023 Colorado State Fair
- Must have a current driver’s license and be able to drive a golf cart
- Must be able to sit or stand for 4 hours at time
- Able to tolerate dust, dirt, rain, or cold
- Hanging signs and small gates
- Help load out buy back animals on to trucks
- Able to tolerate shavings, hay, cows, sheep, pigs, goats, poultry, rabbits, and other barn odors
