Food Vendors

Ride & Game Vendors
Ride & Game Vendors operate an attraction that guests pay to participate in. These vendors pay a guarantee plus 20% commission to the Fair. The Colorado State Fair takes place August 22 – September 1, 2025. Hours are subject to change. Exhibitors are required to have booth staffed and open during all open days & hours of the fair.
Indoor Vendors
Monday-Thursday: 3 PM – 10 PM
Friday-Sunday and Labor Day: 11 AM – 10 PM
Outdoor Vendors
Monday-Thursday: 3 PM – 10 PM
Friday-Sunday and Labor Day: 11 AM – 11 PM
We strive to create a fun, unique and creative Fair therefore our vendor selection process is juried! We look for vendors that showcase unique and appealing products and services. Our exhibitors should provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. We are looking for vendors that showcase the following:
- Clean, professional and aesthetically pleasing booth displays that are easily navigated.
- Product uniqueness and appeal.
- Professional staff appearance.
- Quality products and services
- Professional references
While vendors are not allowed to choose spaces themselves, we are excited to work with you to choose a space that showcases your product/service. We have many years of experience with vendor and product placement to ensure you have a successful event.
There is no deadline, applications are accepted until spaces are full.
Prior to your use of the premises you must provide to the Colorado State Fair Authority, thirty days (30) prior to the fair, a certificate of Insurance listing the Colorado State Fair and the State of Colorado as Additional Insured AND Certificate Holder. State Statutes require the following insurance coverage:
- Comprehensive General Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance, including Personal Injury.
$1,000,000 each occurrence;
$1,000,000 general aggregate;
$1,000,000 products and completed operations aggregate; and
$50,000 any 1 fire.
No exhibitor shall be permitted to set up without the proper copies of insurance certificates on file!
Haas & Wilkerson Insurance (A third party company), will provide general liability coverage for commercial exhibitors at the Colorado State Fair under a master insurance policy. The Haas & Wilkerson Insurance offered to Exhibitors meets the requirements of the Colorado State Fair. Should you choose to participate in this insurance program, please call the Commercial Exhibits Office to request a form. The form must be completed, and mailed directly to Haas & Wilkerson. The cost of the insurance is $85.00 (price subject to change)
- Standard Colorado Workers’ Compensation
Insurance and Employer’s Liability (if you have employees) or Standard Worker’s Compensation that covers employees in the State of Colorado.
- Including occupational disease
- Covering all individuals engaged in performance of the work at the site
- In the amount required by State Statutes
- Valid During the Fair dates
A Worker’s Compensation Exemption Form is available from the Commercial Exhibits Office, for those Exhibitors who are exempt from Workers’ Compensation Insurance.
Concessionaires must provide proof of vehicle insurance covering their trailers.
Wifi is available and free of charge. Service cannot be guaranteed so we recommend all vendors have a backup option available.
Colorado State Fair has partnerships with several area hotels. RV spaces are limited but available.
Vendors, exhibitors & visitors generate a large amount of waste, and the Colorado State Fair is committed to minimizing the amount going into landfills. We ask that you support our efforts to be an environmentally sensitive event.
The Colorado State Fair recycles the following materials:
- Paper
- Cardboard
- Glass
- Aluminum & steel cans
- Plastic bottles
- Cooking Oil / grease
- Manure & Shavings (composted)
Yes, indoor exhibitors inside the Palace of Agriculture will be provided with pipe and drape. It is included in your booth fee.
