NRHA YOUTH FREESTYLE

The NRHA Youth Freestyle event is a crowd favorite at the Colorado State Fair. A total of 15 competitors ages 9-18, and their horses, will dress to impress and perform a four-minute routine to music! Each performance will include the rider’s individual creativity as well as several required maneuvers: four spins to the right, four spins to the left, three sliding stops and two lead changes (one from right lead to left, and one from left lead to right). No duplicate songs will be allowed. Judges will select a champion, awarding the duo with the highest score. This event is perfect entertainment for families, equestrians, and professionals alike to enjoy!
